An Oasis-mad bride recreated one of the bands most iconic record covers on her big day as guests got to listen to tracks of the Manchester rock group on repeat in the background.
Robyn Hixon, 38, said she had never actually realised the significance of the special location until she was a teen despite loving Oasis for ‘as long as she has been alive’.
She and her 12 bridesmaids recreated the iconic single cover with their wedding photographer in a fun shoot ahead of the festival-themed ceremony.
Robyn and now-husband Tommy, 33, tied the knot on July 20 just weeks before the band’s reunion was announced.
But can you guess where they chose to say their I dos?

Growing up just down the road from Cromford Railway Station in Derbyshire, the bride never realised she lived by a piece of Britpop history until she a teen.
But she would go on to choose the ‘Some Might Say’ train station as the scene for her wedding, recounting she had always been fascinated by the Grade-II-listed Victorian structure which features on the cover of one of the band’s most famous singles.
The Derbyshire station is featured on the cover of Some Might Say – one of the band’s most famous singles which helped shoot them to superstardom in 1995.
When Robyn wed Tommy this year she could think of no better place to stay with her bridal party than the holiday cottage at the station.

Other hidden details include the ‘Education Please?’ sign, Noel’s watering can to signify ‘in the rain’ while a friend’s dog was even roped in for the shoot.

Robyn had visited the station countless times to catch trains before moving to Australia in her 30s so thought it was the perfect place to stay with her bridal party.
She said it was actually her bridesmaid Joey Hall who came up with the idea of recreating the cover the night before her wedding day.
Robyn, who now lives in Perth, said: ‘She said let’s do the Some Might Say cover – but in our wedding stuff.
‘She gathered the materials we needed. She was collecting all the bits and bobs while we were having our hair and make-up done that morning.
‘We asked the owner’s permission and ran the idea past our photographer Lucy, who loved it.

Robyn is not the only Oasis-mad bride to single out the station as her preferred choice
‘We’ve been going to the cottage for years and never thought of doing it before. And it was just before the reunion too.
‘We had no idea that was going to happen just a few weeks later – I keep saying we manifested it.’

She is also not the only one to have been surprised on finding out its significance.
When Tim Collis, 58, and Ryan Phelps, 53, purchased the derelict master house and waiting room at Cromford Railway Station in Derbyshire for £390,000 they hadn’t actually realised its link to the Manchester rock group.
It was only when they got inside their new home and saw the artwork for Oasis’ first number one single that they realised they had purchased the piece of Britpop history.
Tim said enquiries for bookings had ‘gone supersonic’ since news of the reunion was announced while fans have been flocking there for selfies and to recreate the cover.
In the cover photo, Liam Gallagher can be seen waving from the railway bridge while brother Noel is sprinkling a watering can on the platform below.
Tim revealed despite being an Oasis fan, he did not know about the historic building’s connection with the band until after he bought it.
The restoration was so impressive King Charles visited in 2011, meaning the Gallagher brothers were no longer the most famous people to have visited there

Bride Robyn said: ‘I’ve been fascinated by this place since I was young so I thought it was the ideal place to stay.
‘It’s a nice little claim to fame for Cromford. It’s a very important song for Oasis too, to have one of their first big songs related to our quiet little village is beautiful.
‘But when I was first listening to Oasis I didn’t know the link to the station. It was amazing to discover the link to one of my favourite bands.
‘We had a festival themed wedding on the day. There were a few Oasis tracks played throughout.
‘Our band Waking Vegas played one and then there were some on the playlist and when I was getting ready that morning too.
‘My favourite Oasis song is Half the World Away for obvious reasons with living away in Australia.

Robyn has now vowed that she and her bridesmaids will go to the gig in their wedding attire if they can grab enough tickets for them all
‘My husband is English but we met in Perth and he’s lived in Australia for longer than me.’
Robyn has now vowed that she and her bridesmaids will go to the gig in their wedding attire if they can grab enough tickets for them all.
The bride, who works in construction, added: ‘We managed to get some tickets but my bridesmaid needs some. If I get more, I’ll wear my wedding dress to the gig.
‘If all the girls get tickets we’ll definitely go in our wedding gear.
‘I absolutely love Oasis. We have Oasis artwork around the house, I’ve loved them for as long as I remember being alive.
‘I screamed the office down when I heard they were reforming, people must have thought I was mad.
‘I’ve seen them a few times, Oasis are the crème de la crème.’
