Alongside her sweet album, she penned: ‘Heaven has gained one very special angel, a legend & our whole families HERO. We sadly lost our grandad Eddie Monday evening at the great age of 92.
I dreaded this day since forever, loosing you hurts so much but remembering our amazing memories is what’s getting me through. I’ll never forget staying with you most weekends and persisting that me, you & nanny sang opera as loud as we could on the step ladder.
‘From never giving up on trying to teach me to ride a bike even though we had to go back to nanny every time to tell her I still couldn’t do it to never forgetting to bring home my favourite collectable magazine every Friday after work which I still have now & will keep forever as a memory of us..
‘You were a one of a kind grandad and so many people could agree on that, the most incredible, selfless gentlemen anyone could have ever met.
‘The impact you have left on so many shows this, they simply don’t make them like you anymore.
‘I got to be by your side until the very end and I will never forget that.. I miss you and your big strong hugs so much already, I’ll miss you forever. Love always, your little effol mush ♥️’

Among the snaps Jess shared were images of Eddie walking her down the aisle on her wedding day, as well as sweet images throughout her childhood.
In a lengthy caption, Jess wrote: ‘If only I could cuddle you and feel you cuddle me back so tight again. Losing you grandad has broken my heart all over again.
‘From the day I met you, there was no doubt you would be my best friend. If you look up the words ”legend” & ”hero” in the dictionary, it would say Grandad Eddie & everyone knew it which makes me immensely proud, they simply do not make them like you anymore & that’s a fact.
‘Your kindness, generosity, caring ways with your beautiful smile & undeniable love for your family will live with on forever. You set the tone for men all over.
‘Thank you for giving me away in our English ceremony, that really did mean the world to me. Thank you for being you. Thank you for allowing me to live with you when I was a little girl & without fail, letting me sit on your lap every single night watching reruns of Only Fools & Horses over & over again.
‘For helping me write a letter to the bbc in hope to meet David Jason which we never ended up sending thank god as I will treasure it forever, as you did in our memory box. You still laughing at the same jokes from only fools I made you hear night after night & fireman carrying me up & down the stairs every day.
