The owner of an iconic music store in Sydney has died suddenly aged 64.
HUM MUSIC founder Peter Thiele passed away on November 9 after he took his own life, The Daily Telegraph reported.
Peter is survived by HUM co-founder and his ex-wife Kyliejo Thiele, 53, and their two children Felix, 21, and Ava, 17.
Ms Thiele said she wanted Peter to be remembered for his ‘generosity’ and she urged anyone suffering to ‘ask for help’.
‘He loved music and that’s why he’s only ever done that as a job. He lived for it,’ she added.
‘He was warm and probably a little bit shy (and) he will be truly missed. I know that he used to love the customers coming in and he’d just be chatting with them.’
