Million Dollar Listing star Josh Altman says celebrities will not be moving back to Pacific Palisades after the devastating LA fires destroyed thousands of homes.
The Palisades fire, which broke out on Tuesday, January 7, has seen countless celebrities including Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Billy Crystal and Milo Ventimiglia lose their houses.
Celebrity real estate agent Altman, 45, says he believes stars will now flee to surrounding areas Brentwood, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and Bel Air instead of returning to the glitzy town.
He told TMZ: ‘I strongly believe that 50 per cent of the people who lived in the Palisades are not going to be moving back
‘Brentwood, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and Bel Air markets will go up, people want to be as close to normalcy as possible.
‘Palisades is the all-American town, these kids that are five years old, there’s a chance, it could be four to five years before they’re back.’

He said people are ‘already trying to sell their land’ in Palisades ‘knowing they won’t go back there and revealed some would even leave LA altogether, for Newport Beach or Orange County.
He added: ‘The majority of the people are heavily uninsured and that’s why they wont go back.’
The high winds that have fueled the flames have weakened and the outlet reported that the Palisades fire is 31-percent contained. The Eaton fire stands at 65-percent contained.
The death toll is currently listed at 27 according to CBS.

The homes of Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, Anthony Hopkins, Tina Knowles, John Goodman, Candy Spelling, and Miles Teller are among those destroyed.
Apocalyptic fires tore through the ritzy enclave of Pacific Palisades rapidly spreading to surrounding suburbs as a windstorm carried embers and debris in all directions.

Residents fled and then waited with bated breath to learn more about their homes, as news began trickling out that entire streets had been wiped off the map, firefighters were running out of water, and resources were being diverted to fight the fire on multiple fronts.
Neither of the two major fires has been contained and thousands remain evacuated.
The ongoing wildfires have destroyed over 12,000 structures and fouled the sprawling region´s air quality, which affects public health.
