Meghan Markle has shared a loved-up welcome home message to Prince Harry, who has returned from his solo touring abroad, through he As Ever lifestyle brand.

The Duke of Sussex spent four days in the UK last week before embarking on a surprise trip to Ukraine ahead of his return to California.

The post, shared on As Ever’s Instagram story, showed a woman lounging in a heather garden pouring two glasses of Meghan’s rosé wine.

Accompanying the image was the caption: “When your beau is back in town…”

While the identity of the woman in the photo was obscured, the post evidently channelled Meghan’s excitement about the return of Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex had remained at home in Montecito with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, while Harry made the solo trip to the UK and the on to Ukraine.

During his tours, Meghan had remained largely quiet on social media.

One of her only engagements with Harry’s time abroad was sharing a clip of him attending the WellChild Awards last Monday.

Notably, the duchess has remained tight lipped on Prince Harry’s reunion with King Charles on Wednesday.

The father and son met for “a private tea” at Clarence House, bringing the pair together for the first time in more than a year and a half.

Harry would describe the King as “great” when quizzed about the meeting just hours later, with his spokesman adding he had “loved being back in the UK”.

Meghan has not returned to the UK since she attended the funeral for Queen Elizabeth II in 2022.

Archie and Lilibet have also not visited Britain for some time, last being in their father’s home country earlier that year for the late Queen’s platinum jubilee.

Harry’s return to California comes just in time to ring in his 41st birthday with his family.

Meghan will most likely devote a new post to celebrate the occasion.

A similar gesture from the Royal Family appears unlikely as protocol dictates such messages would be sent only on milestone birthdays.

Harry’s return to California comes after he made a series of candid admissions about his time outside the royal fold while in Ukraine.

The duke mounted a robust defence of his comments about the Royal Family, many made in his explosive 2023 memoir, as a necessary “correction” of the public record.

“It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear,” he declared.

In his comments, Harry also suggested a further return to the UK, alongside Archie and Lilibet, was “closer” following the success of last week’s trip.
