Meghan Markle has celebrated Princess Lilibet reaching her fifth birthday by sharing fresh family photographs on Instagram.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, uploaded images capturing the young princess at the family’s £11million Montecito residence, accompanied by the caption: “Our dream girl. Happy fifth birthday, Lili.”
The photographs feature Lilibet dressed in a pale yellow sundress, the same outfit she wore during behind-the-scenes filming for her mother’s As Ever lifestyle brand.

A second photograph shows Prince Harry tenderly cradling his daughter while Meghan gazes at the pair with a smile.
The young princess can be seen wearing a delicate gold bracelet bearing a striking resemblance to the Duchess of Sussex’s £5,800 Cartier Love Bracelet.
The couple’s commitment to keeping their children out of the spotlight was so steadfast that following Lilibet’s first birthday portrait, which showed the toddler at a Frogmore Cottage picnic, no further official images revealing her face were released for years.
Archie’s face has not appeared in any photograph since the family’s 2021 Christmas card.

When Lilibet turned four, Meghan offered followers their first clear view of her daughter through a black and white photograph displaying her eyes and upper face.
Shortly afterwards, the family’s two-day Disneyland trip was documented on Instagram, featuring the children meeting Elsa from Frozen and Harry enjoying a ride with his daughter.
This social media activity continued with tributes on International Day of the Girl, Halloween celebrations, and the annual holiday card showing Harry and Archie in a tender embrace while Meghan pressed her forehead against Lilibet’s on a bridge.
A Valentine’s Day post showed Lilibet’s appearance clearly, with Harry holding the princess as she clutched red balloons.
