Max George cuddled up to beloved pitbull Albert as he enjoyed a low-key Christmas after finally being discharged from hospital following emergency heart surgery.
The Wanted singer, 36, was delighted as he reunited with his four-legged friend following weeks on a ward and having a pacemaker fitted.
Max took to his Instagram Stories on Boxing Day as he and Albert cosied up on the couch to watch the football.
The former Strictly star couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he kissed his dog on the head and wrote ‘Missed My Boy’.
Max previously admitted he was ‘bruised and battered’ after his operation confessed he was glad to be home.
Earlier this month, he revealed he was spending Christmas in hospital after being forced to seek medical help after having an undiagnosed heart condition.

But on Christmas Day he shared that he had reunited with his girlfriend Maisie Smith, 23, to spend Christmas with family and friends.
In an Instagram post, Max shared some adorable snaps of him and his partner cuddled up on the sofa.
The musician was wearing a a brown hoodie and matching sweatpants while Maisie laid her head on his chest.
On Christmas Eve he told how he had been discharged admitted he was ‘bruised and battered’ ahead of Christmas Day.
And later he took to his Story with another shot clip and said: ‘Merry Christmas everyone!
‘I just wanted to say that I am back home waiting for my beautiful girlfriend to arrive at some point. Best present ever – thanks for the love.
In another photo, the pop star showed off the dining table set ready for Christmas lunch with Maisie spotted in a pair of white and grey striped trousers and a red hoodie stretching.
And in the final photo, Max was tucked up in bed with Maisie who was still wearing a red paper crown from her Christmas cracker.

Max explained he isn’t completely out of the woods yet as doctors want to do more tests in the coming weeks after finding a problem with his lungs
Max captioned the trio of photos simply with: ‘It’s so good to be home’.
Max previously revealed he had to stay in hospital due to ongoing cardiac issues and underwent a serious operation after his condition didn’t improve.
Sharing a video from his hospital bed on Tuesday, Max said: ‘It’s time to go home. The numbers are way better. I feel knackered, slept a lot today.’
But Max revealed he isn’t completely out of the woods yet as doctors want to do more tests in the coming weeks after finding a problem with his lungs.
‘Few more tests to do over the next couple of weeks, something to do with my lungs but that’s the least of my worries right now.
‘All good, bit battered and bruised and knackered but,’ he added and gave a thumbs up to the camera.
It comes after Max revealed he would undergo open heart surgery to have a pacemaker fitted.
After doctors ran further tests, Max revealed he will need to fitted with the device that stops the heart from beating too slowly after they found an issue with the ‘bottom part of his heart’.
Pointing to his chest, he said: ‘So latest is that 100 per cent I’m going to have a little friend put in here at some point.
‘Erm, I’ve got an issue with the bottom part of my heart, it’s called a block. The tricky bit is what I have put in because until I have further tests we don’t know what caused it.’
The Glad You Came hitmaker noted it is all a ‘mystery’ what has happened to him, although doctors have been able to eliminate some possible causes.
Max, who has battled alcoholism previously, said: ‘We’ve cancelled out a few things, like alcohol for example I’ve not had a drink for four-and-a-half years so it’s not that.
‘It’s a bit of a mystery really, but that’s the hard bit. It’s the waiting. My heart rate is really, really low. They’re monitoring it 24/7, everyone has been amazing.

‘But the waiting bit is tough. It’s just one of them things unfortunately. Whatever I get, I’ve got to get on with it. We’re hoping pacemaker, a pacemaker is good.’
In another recent clip from his well-documented hospital chronicles – the singer shared he had had a ‘rough day’ in hospital.
He said: ‘I’ve had a bit of a rough day today.
‘My heart rate dropped this morning, which was a little bit scary. But everyone here’s amazing and they managed to get it back up a little bit and get it stable again, which is great.
‘A lot of friends and family are asking why I’m not just going in and having anything done yet, but there’s so many tests that need to be done before we do anything.’
‘I just need to get through to next week and have all the tests done, then they’ll know exactly what to do.’
Max concluded his message by noting he is determined to stay positive amid the ordeal.
He said: ‘Obviously they’ll be able to do something but it’ll be better doing it with all the information they need. But year, it’s s**** But still here and staying positive.’
