Warrington Wolves half-back Marc Sneyd says his new side have the ability to go on to win an elusive first Super League title.
The 34-year-old joined the Wire from Salford earlier this month after the Red Devils had been plagued by off-field issues in the lead-up to – and aftermath of – a takeover earlier in the 2025 campaign.
Since the formation of Super League in 1996, Warrington have never won the title, but have finished as Grand Final runners-up on four occasions – most recently in 2018 – while their last top-flight Premiership crown came in 1986.
Asked if Warrington could win the title either this year or next, Sneyd said: “I don’t see why not. The league this year could be potentially one of the best it’s been.
“For the most, anybody can beat anybody on their day. I feel like whichever team is the most consistent this year and turns up on the day the most will probably end up winning it but I don’t think it’ll be as black and white as it usually is.”
