A tram network has resumed after a day of disruption caused by a derailment.
Commuters around Manchester faced disruption throughout Friday after a tram came off the tracks at the Cornbrook interchange shortly before 09:00 BST.
The derailment cut off services from the centre of the city to lines towards the south and east.
Operator Metrolink said lines had fully reopened on Friday evening following safety checks.
Passengers were pictured on the tracks after being asked to leave the station when a small section of the tram came off.
Metrolink engineers told Radio Manchester that lifting mats had to be brought in to move the tram back on the rails.
Those affected were told tickets would be accepted on commercial bus services and Metrolink apologised to people whose journey’s had been disrupted.
