A man has denied attempting to murder a detective in a maximum security prison.
David Taylor is accused of attacking an officer from Greater Manchester Police during an interview at HMP Frankland in Durham on 23 July.
Mr Taylor, 62 and formerly of Willington in County Durham, denied attempted murder when he appeared at Teesside Crown Court on Friday.
A trial had been listed for February but the court heard it may be moved to Manchester to link up with another case.
