Linda Nolan has revealed she suffered a nasty fall that left her severely injured amid her ongoing battle with cancer.
The singer, 65, received the all-clear from breast cancer in 2006, but was later diagnosed with incurable secondary cancer in 2017. Then earlier this year revealed tumours in her brain – which were thought to be stable – have grown.
Looking on the bright side Linda recalled the fall, which occurred back in October, and how her sudden lack of teeth along with a bald head from chemotherapy, frightened away trick or treaters.
She told The Mirror: ‘I’ll use jokes and humour as a way to cope, but of course it’s scary. And I have my days where I’m terribly down’.
‘I’m there, bald as anything, no teeth and these poor little girls ran away screaming. I couldn’t stop laughing. I love Halloween and they actually thought I was a witch. A real one!’.
Linda explained that the fall was not her first and after previously being left ‘looking like I’d gone five rounds with Michael Tyson’ moved in with sister Denise.

The sister of Loose Women panelist Coleen Nolan went on to say that she thought her 60th birthday would be her last, but was ‘still here’ five years later.
‘It’s easy to sit back and get depressed about it, but I’m still going. My hope for this year? To not die, obviously. I just want to be here with my family. I want us all to be here this time next year, that’s the goal’.
Last month Linda revealed the festive period means more to her this year because she never expected to ‘make Christmas’,
The star explained her Christmas plans to Woman magazine, telling them she was looking forward to going round to her sister Denise’s house and finding out what all the little ones got from Santa.
She said: ‘I can’t wait [for Christmas]. Not to be morbid, but I didn’t think I’d make Christmas, so it’s a real bonus.
‘We love Christmas as a family and we’re all going to gather at [sister] Denise’s. It will be great. We all have such a good time when we get together so I can’t wait. I especially love seeing all the little ones and how excited they get.’
Linda added that she hoped to be here to celebrate with her family next year as well before issuing a health update.
She told the publication that she is undergoing chemotherapy once every three weeks alongside having her bloods taken and if the results are positive, she going on to have another round of treatment.

She added: ‘You have to be careful with chemo. I’ve lost my hair again – I’m bald for the fifth time and it still gets to me each time.
‘I’m distraught when it goes. Pain-wise I get a cramp in my leg which really hurts, but apart from that there’s no pain, which is good.’
Despite her health struggles Linda has remained positive and told the magazine that she has been fighting cancer since 2005 and vowed to continue fighting as long as she could.
Linda added that she remains in good spirits by making sure she keeps busy and gets outside as often as she can.
She said she’ll even sit outside in her garden in the freezing cold because the fresh air makes her feel better.
Keeping busy is important as is getting outside. Even if it is sitting outside in your garden in this cold weather getting some fresh air always makes you feel better.”
Last week, Linda told the Mirror that a recent fall made her realise she could no longer live independently and has moved in with her sister.
She said she was forced to accept she couldn’t return to her home and despite only moving in with Denise and Tom temporarily, has now been with them for 18 months.
Linda’s update comes after she begged cancer to leave her family alone in an interview with Good Morning Britain in August.
Linda fought back tears as she she shared her plea as she prepared to undergo treatment for a fifth time.

And in August, Linda issued an update that the tumours in her brain – which were thought to be stable – have grown.
Appearing on GMB, Linda revealed that she was being set on a new course of chemotherapy as a result of the update – and shared the news that she could face losing her hair once again.
She also revealed the physical toll the ongoing treatment was taking on her smile, pointing to a gap in her teeth and exclaiming: ‘Look, I’ve lost a tooth!’

‘I’m just like everybody else really, I just want it to go,’ Linda said of cancer’s prevalence in her family. ‘Or leave us alone for a little while at least.’
‘You would be entitled to feel a rage at the universe that your family has been cursed by the big C,’ host Richard Madeley said to Linda, before asking if she gets angry at how it has affected her family.
She replied: ‘I asked Bernie one time, somebody said to her “Do you ever think Why me?” and she said “No I think why not me”. It doesn’t pick and choose.
‘You can’t put your name down and say you’re next in line. But we have had a rough time with it.’
