La Toya Jackson has prompted widespread concern amongst her followers after sharing photographs on social media that revealed her strikingly slender appearance.
The 69-year-old singer uploaded a series of images to Instagram on Monday, posing in a figure-hugging crimson long-sleeved top paired with slim black trousers and gold pointed heels.
She completed the ensemble with a chunky chain belt and a bracelet worn over her sleeve.
Her thin physique was particularly evident when she turned sideways in the photographs.

Accompanying the images, Ms Jackson wrote: “Happy Monday guys! Wishing you all a fabulous week! Stay safe, healthy and much love to you all!”
The photographs prompted a divided response from her fanbase, with numerous commenters voicing alarm about her well-being.
“She’s always been petite, but I’m beginning to worry about her. I hope she is ok,” wrote one follower, while another stated: “I’m concerned about how tiny you look!”
“Wel,l this is scary,” a third equally worried follower penned in response to the update.

Another questioned the reception Ms Jackson was receiving while acknowledging the concerning nature of the pictures. “At this point, we have to decide if posting an image that’s concerning is really worth the attention if you’re not gonna attempt to explain the issue or pretend this is normal. It ain’t,” they said.
However, many rushed to defend the singer against critical remarks about her weight.
“Latoya has always been petite, and it’s normal to lose muscle mass as you get older,” one supporter argued. “The jokes some of y’all are making are really unnecessary and rude. Y’all would not have that same energy in person. Grow up.”
Others urged compassion, with one fan writing: “Y’all please don’t be unkind I think Latoya is having some health challenges.” (sic)
“You guys need to be nicer. Latoya is a legend,” another jumped in, while a fellow follower urged: “We love you LaToya and please don’t let the ignorant comments bother you. Have a fabulous week and whatever it is you need to do and enjoy in order to smile, do it!!”
The concern surrounding Ms Jackson’s appearance has been heightened by mysterious posts she shared in November from a medical facility.
In a video uploaded on November 7, she told her fanbase: “Hi guys, I hope everyone’s doing well.
“I’m here at the doctor again, so I’m hoping that everything goes well with me, all results are good.”

She returned to the surgery just days later, posting another clip on November 11 in which she remarked: “Guess where I am on this Monday morning?
“You guessed, that place again. Constantly getting check-ups. Oh well, have a great week guys.”
Ms Jackson has offered no further explanation regarding the nature of these visits, and her representatives have not commented publicly on her health status.
Family members have rallied around Ms Jackson during this period, with her nephew Taryll Jackson and niece Brandi Jackson both leaving messages of support beneath her posts.

The singer has previously addressed questions about her slim frame, explaining her dietary choices in an interview earlier this year.
“I’m strictly organic. I make sure that everything I eat is organic and my diet is basically based on plants,” she told the Daily Mail in June.
“So it’s a cruciferous diet basically and that’s what I stick to because this is what God put on the earth for us.”
The routine is predominantly made up of vegetables, including broccoli, kale, cabbage and rocket, although Jackson acknowledged she occasionally consumes chicken as well.
