King Charles appears to have snubbed Prince Harry for a private meeting with David Beckham.
The Duke of Sussex flew to the UK on Tuesday but confirmed following his arrival that he would not meet with King Charles.
Harry cited the King’s busy schedule as the reason he would not be seeing his father during his trip to the UK.
A spokesperson for the duke said: “In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the Duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme.

“In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the Duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme.
However, King Charles had time to meet with David Beckham privately during the two days that Harry was in the UK, according to the Mail.
The visit between the King and Beckham was planned months in advance to discuss his charitable foundation.
The King also hosted a garden party at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday which clashed with Harry’s reading at St Paul’s Cathedral to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
King Charles had time to meet with David Beckham privately during the two days that Harry was in the UK.

The King was joined at the royal residence by Queen Camilla, Prince Edward, the Duchess of Edinburgh and Princess Anne.
No member of the Royal Family attended Harry’s Invictus event at St Paul’s Cathedral.
Harry founded the games in 2014 when was still a working member of the Royal Family.
King Charles and Prince Harry last saw each other face to face in February 2024 following the monarch’s cancer diagnosis.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are undertaking a three-day tour of the Commonwealth nation.

The royals met at Clarence House for 45 minutes but Harry did not meet with Prince William.
King Charles returned to public-facing duties last week as he visited a cancer centre alongside Queen Camilla.
The engagement was the King’s first public-facing duty since being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
Prince Harry left the UK on Thursday evening as he flew from Heathrow Airport to Nigeria with his wife Meghan Markle.
