Prince Andrew is under growing demands to leave Royal Lodge as Prince William and Princess Kate prepare their relocation to Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park ahead of Bonfire Night.

According to royal insiders, the Prince and Princess of Wales intend to settle into the eight-bedroom property during the upcoming half-term holiday with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The Georgian mansion sits just over a mile from Royal Lodge, where Andrew has resided for over two decades.

Sources indicate that William desires his uncle’s departure from the 30-room estate before the family begins their relocation next week.

“It’s not about what Andrew doesn’t want to do anymore. It’s about what he’s going to be told to do,” a source told the Mail.

Daily negotiations concerning the prince’s living situation are occurring as public indignation mounts over his minimal rental payments for the opulent property.

Palace insiders suggest that, despite Andrew’s legally secure tenancy agreement, the extent of public outrage makes his continued residence untenable.

Kate is reportedly uncomfortable at the prospect of residing so near to Royal Lodge whilst Andrew remains in occupation, according to sources.

A source told the publication: “Catherine shudders at the thought of living so close to Royal Lodge while Prince Andrew is still in it.

“William wants him gone before they start to move in next week.”

The Waleses are thought to be aiming to utilise the school holiday period to help their children adjust to their upcoming relocation.

Their current residence at Adelaide Cottage was not their original preference, according to well-placed sources.

The couple had initially hoped to make Royal Lodge their Windsor residence when departing Kensington Palace in August 2022.

“Them going into Adelaide Cottage was never the plan. But they were forced to because Prince Andrew wouldn’t shift,” a well-connected source claimed.

Adelaide Cottage lies just over three miles from Forest Lodge, where the family now plans to establish their permanent residence.

The Waleses have since focused their aspirations on Forest Lodge, envisioning it as an ideal setting to bring up their children in a more pastoral environment whilst maintaining their active parenting approach.

Both properties are situated in tranquil areas of Windsor Great Park, with Andrew known to ride horses through the surrounding countryside and woodlands.

Recent revelations concerning Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have reportedly strengthened Buckingham Palace’s resolve to address the living arrangements.

Fergie, who shares Royal Lodge with her former husband, had initially welcomed the prospect of the Wales children becoming neighbours, according to insiders.

GB News has contacted Kensington Palace for comment.
