Jennifer Lopez seemed to be in a great mood while in New York City on Monday.
The 55-year-old Atlas actress was seen smiling while leaving a lunch date at Sadelle’s in Soho, New York City with her sister Lynda Lopez.
The Bronx-born beauty wore an ivory teddy bear coat with a cream-colored turtleneck and matching boots with pale blue denim jeans. Her hair was worn down and straight as she added blue-and-pink tinted ombre octagonal sunglasses.
Her sister Lynda, a former reporter, had on a black coat over a gray sweater with jeans, a gray purse and black boots.
This comes hours after Jennifer’s ex Ben Affleck raved about her acting in his film Unstoppable, even calling it ‘spectacular.’

Ben had praise for estranged wife Lopez’s performance in the forthcoming film Unstoppable, which he’s a producer on.
The Air actor-director, 52, who’s in the middle of a divorce with Lopez, told Entertainment Tonight on Sunday that ‘Jennifer is spectacular’ in the role of Judy Robles in the sports drama.
Unstoppable, directed by William Goldenberg, is set to arrive in theaters December 6, and features a cast including Lopez, Jharrel Jerome, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña and Don Cheadle.
In Unstoppable, Jerome plays the role of champion Arizona State University amateur wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg.
‘Unstoppable is a very different movie than this but in a way it’s similarly rooted in the passion of really talented artists,’ said Affleck. ‘Goldenberg and Jennifer and Don Cheadle and Jharrel, and Bobby Cannavale – all were really passionate about this film.’
Lopez, in a chat with Nikki Glaser published in Interview magazine on October 9, said that she is handling the latest chapter in her life with the wisdom that comes with life experience.
‘I think my whole life I’ve just been trying to say I’m good enough, until where I am now, when I know,’ Lopez said. ‘I’m giving myself credit. I’m telling that little girl that grew up in the Bronx, “You’ve done really good for yourself.” I didn’t do that for so many years.

‘And now I think, with everything that’s happened in my life and in my relationships and even in my career, it’s like, give yourself a bit of comfort and love.’
Affleck in March of 2023 told CBS Sunday Morning that it was a pleasure to work closely with Lopez on the movie.
‘What fun, what a joy to do something with her, see her be great, go to work with your wife, go to work with your best friend,’ Affleck said at the time.
‘If you don’t like who you’re working with, and if you have difficulty or trouble at work, I think it’s one of the things that can really cause depression, anxiety and pain for people.

This new JLo sighting comes just after Lynda visited Affleck‘s daughter Violet at Yale University.
Lynda shared an image with the teenager over the weekend as they smiled for the camera. Violet, 18, started school as a freshman at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut in September.
Lynda was dressed for cold weather in a beige sweater while Violet, whose mother is actress Jennifer Garner, had on a white jacket and pink earrings with her blonde hair up.
It is interesting to see JLo’s sister spending time with the child of Jennifer’s ex Ben as it suggests the family members of the former lovebirds have stayed close.
Jennifer filed for divorce from Ben on August 20, which was their two year wedding anniversary.

Jennifer has 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
She was stepmother to Ben and Jennifer Garner’s kids Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and 12-year-old Samuel.
Jennifer and Ben seem to have been on good terms as they were seen with their kids having lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel a month ago.
Lopez is also starring in Affleck’s new movie Unstoppable, as a mother of a one-legged wrestler.
She is getting raves for her performance.
Meanwhile, Garner has been seen many times with her longtime boyfriend John Miller in Los Angeles in recent weeks.
The 55-year-old pop superstar was engaged to Hollywood actor Ben, 52, in the early 2000s before breaking up and while the pair famously reconciled in 2021.
They split up again in August after two years of marriage.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the Jenny From the Block singer filed legal docs in L.A. County Superior Court without an attorney.
The date of separation is listed as April 26 2024, but the day on which J. Lo filed for divorce is in fact the second anniversary of the second ceremony they held in Georgia, which followed their initial wedding service in Las Vegas just two months before that.
According to TMZ, the ‘Waiting For Tonight’ hitmaker ‘does not say in her docs whether there’s a prenup’, although sources have claimed to the outlet that there is ‘no prenuptial agreement’ to begin with.

The couple has been rumoured to have called it quits for some time now, but Jennifer has not addressed anything to do with their supposed split, and just mere months ago insisted that there was a ‘real, true love’ between the pair.
She told the Metro newspaper: ‘I wrote ‘This Is Me… Then’ when Ben and I fell in love 20-something years ago.
”As fate would have it, we came back into each other’s lives. And on the 20th anniversary of ‘This Is Me’…
‘Then, I announced that I would do ‘This Is Me… Now’ . It was inspired by the surreal miracle that had happened.
‘Him coming back into my life and the two of us reuniting in a way that we never expected that was the inspiration for even going in the studio. The album just poured out of me.
‘It was just something organic and beautiful, but it was definitely inspired by getting this incredible second chance at real, true love.’
