Jacob Rees-Mogg revealed he was hilariously mistaken for an Uber driver as he arrived at the GB News studios.
A man tapped on his window, introduced himself and tried to get into the car.
Jacob joked he was tempted to drive him just for the fun of it, if it were legal.
He added with a smile: “I’m not entirely sure whether it would have been legal, or how much I could have charged, but it would have given me a little experience of what our wonderful London cab drivers do every day.”
He said the mix-up gave him “another reason” to stick with traditional London cabbies.
