Labour was ousted in Caerphilly this morning in a by-election which saw the so-called “uniparty” vote collapse.

Reform UK came second behind a victorious Plaid Cymru – with the two parties surging by 34.2 and 19 per cent respectively.

But Labour and the Tories took home a combined vote share of just 13 per cent.

Reform’s Zia Yusuf vowed the Reform resolve was “stronger than ever” after the result in a bullish promise ahead of next May’s Senedd elections.

In three by-elections under Sir Keir Starmer, Reform UK has come first in Runcorn & Helsby, second in Caerphilly and third in Hamilton, Larkhall & Stonehouse.

And in council by-elections, Reform UK is collecting councillors across the land – though the Liberal Democrats won four overnight.

As a result, GB News is asking: Is Nigel Farage on track to become the next Prime Minister?
