Teddi Mellencamp was counting her blessings on Thanksgiving day amid her divorce from Edwin Arroyave and the scandal surrounding her alleged affair with her horse trainer.
The reality star, 43, shared snaps capturing the joy of her Thanksgiving celebration, as she surrounded herself with her three kids, Slate, 11, Cruz, 10 and Dove, four, and her extended family.
One image showed the doting mom posing with all her kids and looking chic in a blue button-up shirt and beige pants.
Another one captured her with sister Justice, 39, who also wore denim for the occasion and had her tresses slicked back in a bun just like Teddi.
She also shared a full family photo that featured her father, singer John Mellencamp, 73, his father Richard Mellencamp, her brothers Speck, 29, and Hud, 30, as well as sister Justice with her husband Michael Moore and their kids, along with other family members.
Not present in any of the photos was her estranged husband Edwin, 47, with whom she shares her kids. Edwin spent the holidays with his family, and his eldest daughter from a previous relationship.

In one family photo Teddi was joined by her father, John Mellencamp, 73 (L-4), her brothers Speck, 29 (R-4) and Hud, 30 (R-5) and sister Justice, 39 (L-2) among other family members
Teddi went on to share a photo of a painted family portrait from her childhood that included her dad, her mother, Vicky Granucci, and her siblings Justice, 39, and Michelle, 53, from the rocker’s first marriage to Priscilla Esterline.
Teddi stood by her dad in the portrait, wearing equestrian clothing.
‘Thankful this painting is still up on my room at home,’ the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star wrote.
‘Grateful to be here with family. Happy Thanksgiving.’
‘Home’ in this instance seemed to refer to the Grammy winner’s home in Seymour, Indiana where many members of the Mellencamp family had gathered for the holiday.

The closing line from Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s famous sonnet 43 from her book Sonnets from the Portuguese, ‘If God choose, I shall love thee better after death’ was engraved in the stone of the fireplace.
Young Dove and her sister Slate enjoyed a makeover thanks to their ‘aunt Bird’ aka Justice, who is a professional hairdresser.
Cruz apparently wanted a buzz cut like his uncle Hud, who graciously used his clippers to give the boy a matching look to his.
Cruz celebrated his new look by taking a dip in the hot tub.
‘Justice Mellencamp, will you slick your hair back today so we look like twinsies?’ she asked in another Instagram Stories post, in which she posed for a selfie.
In spite of the turmoil going on in her life, Teddi shared she still has a sense of humor.

Meanwhile, Edwin, 47, shared photos from his family celebration without Teddi or their kids on his Instagram Stories.
However he was joined by his eldest daughter Isabella, from a previous relationship.
He shared a number of family photos, including one snap with his siblings. ‘Thankful for my siblings,’ he wrote in the caption.
It was unclear if Edwin would be taking part in the family celebrations this year. On the Wednesday edition of his podcast, The Eds, with co-host Eddie Judge, the entrepreneur hinted he might be there, in keeping with family tradition.
‘I think last year we celebrated Christmas at our house and then this year Thanksgiving will be at John’s house,’ he said.
Arroyave said he ‘is doing good,’ had turned to his faith to help him navigate the split after 13 years of marriage.
‘I’ve always been big on just focusing on what you can control and all that other stuff you can’t control, you just leave that up to God and that’s what gives you peace,’ he explained.

This was the first holiday season Teddi and Edwin did not spend together in 13 years.
It comes after Mellencamp said she has ‘taken accountability and apologized’ amid the scandal surrounding her alleged affair with her horse trainer.
She claimed she found peace with her past wrongdoings as she opened up about her personal journey on Instagram.
‘The only person who can change your life is you,’ she wrote alongside a video of herself working out.
‘We have two options: pretend to be a victim or stand up and fight for yourself. We all deserve peace and happiness,’ she continued.
‘I have cried and mourned. I have taken accountability and apologized for things I have done wrong. Now, I have given myself permission to grow and thrive.’
Then, she concluded: ‘There are three sides to every story. How can I stand up and show up for the people that do matter? This is called being an adult. This is what saying it with my full chest means.’
Mellencamp filed for divorce from Arroyave, citing irreconcilable differences on November 1 and listed October 20 as their date of separation.
Last week, Mellencamp addressed the headlines about her alleged infidelity with her married horse trainer Simon Schroeder on her podcast Two Ts in a Pod with Tamra Judge.
‘What I can say, which I’m trying very… there’s multiple sides to every story,’ she said. ‘I’m sure everyone has seen everything all over the World Wide Web,’ she added.
Mellencamp was measured in her words when speaking on the sensitive topic.

‘I’m not going to confirm or deny anything,’ the accountability coach said, adding cryptically that ‘there’s many people involved’ in her current situation.
‘I once again, say the same statement I said before – the kids, they’re the priority; for the time being that’s all I’m going to discuss on this,’ Teddi said. ‘Small kids are involved, family members – you don’t want to throw other people under the bus.
‘When it comes to kids and other people’s lives that didn’t sign up for this or did sign up for this, I got to just take a beat.’
Mellencamp and Schröeder allegedly cheated for months amid their respective marriages, and during a timeframe his wife Karli Postel had been expecting — and delivered — their second child, a source told DailyMail.com.
