And now the iconic Regency Cafe in London could be yours for £170,000
The Art-deco style cafe first opened in Westminster in 1946 and has featured in BBC dramas, movies such as Layer Cake, Pride, and Rocketman, adverts and even a Vogue cover shoot.
It also boasts a reputation for its traditional English breakfasts and has gained a loyal customer base including celebrities, politicians and TV chef Michel Roux Jr.

The listing says the cafe, which has been owned by Antonio Perotti and Gino Schiavetta since 1986, ‘presents a fantastic opportunity to take over a well-established, iconic establishment’.
It is being sold by Christie & Co, a property advisor that specialises in businesses such as pubs and restaurants.
The agent in charge of the sale, David Wilson, told the Standard there had been a ‘lot of interest’ in the ten-year lease.

The listing on Rightmove said: ‘Renowned for its hearty and authentic English breakfasts, the café serves generous portions at reasonable prices.
‘The Regency Café has a loyal customer base, including local workers, politicians, and celebrities.
‘Due to a popular social media following, the café also attracts tourists looking for a traditional café experience.
‘The café has been featured in various television and film productions, adding to its iconic status.’
Mr Wilson had said there were no protections on the business meaning anyone could buy it and run it as they see fit.
However, Westminster Council told the Standard that the council will make sure the site is not redeveloped.
‘To be clear, we won’t allow the site to be developed into something different as we want to preserve the spirit and heritage this iconic café brings, which aligns with the current owners wishes,’ councillor David Boothroyd, cabinet member for finance and corporate property said.
The character of the restaurant has remained the same throughout they years, with the original tiling and the Formica tables of photos of Tottenham players hung on the walls.
Reviews of the restaurant on TripAdvisor called it ‘an indispensable London institution’ and it is seen by many as a historic example of an Italian-British café comparable to E Pellici in Bethnal Green and Mario’s in Kentish Town.
