Hugh Jackman may spend some of Christmas without his children because of his new rumoured relationship with actress Sutton Foster.
The Australian actor, 56, reportedly wanted to introduce his girlfriend to children Oscar, 24, and Ava, 19, but his ex Deborra-Lee Furness is allegedly not ‘keen on the idea’.
‘It’s going to take more time for loved ones to adjust to the new normal and so that means Hugh and Sutton are bracing themselves for way less time together than they’d like during the holidays,’ an ‘insider’ told Woman’s Day.
The source claimed Deb feels like Hugh is ‘moving on quickly’ because she ‘gave so much of herself to their marriage’ and doesn’t want a ‘blended’ Christmas.
‘It’s a delicate balancing act and he feels like if anyone is going to spend less time with the kids this year, it’s him,’ they added.
The insider explained that Hugh and Sutton are determined to make their relationship work and are keeping things low-key at the moment.

Reports emerged last month that Hugh’s close relationship with Broadway star Sutton, 49, contributed to the end of his long-term marriage to Deb.
Hugh and Sutton took on the roles of Harold Hill and Marian Paroo in The Music Man, which ran from February 2022 to January 2023 at the Winter Garden Theatre in Manhattan.
‘Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb [separated],’ a source close to Foster told Us Weekly.
The pair have already attended public events together, looking smitten with one another at the opening night of their show The Music Man on Broadway in February 2022.
According to reports, their affair during the show was ‘Broadway’s worst-kept secret’ and now it’s claimed the ‘really happy’ pair are keen to have their relationship out in the open.
It comes after sources revealed to DailyMail.com that Furness had concerns about the pair teaming up for the Broadway production in 2022 – a year before Jackman announced the end of their 27-year marriage.
‘Deborra-Lee had her suspicions when Hugh started working with Sutton,’ a source previously said. ‘Their relationship is not a secret to her.’
The rumoured couple publicly gushed over one another with both admitting it ‘was a dream come true’ to work together in resurfaced interviews.

Foster spoke highly of the ‘incredibly kind, and generous’ Jackman to Vogue when asked about their professional relationship, gushing that ‘he’s now become one of my best friends,’ before adding that ‘we just spent Memorial Day with our families. It’s really fun to meet new friends after 40.’
Jackman shocked fans when he filed for divorce from Furness last September.
‘We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,’ they shared at the time in a joint statement. ‘Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.’
Months later rumours began to swirl that Foster and Jackman had grown close, with insiders this week telling PageSix that they are now ‘in love.’
‘They are 100 percent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together,’ an insider told the publication.
‘They are still together. They go out of their way to hide it, but it’s common knowledge.’
