Hamish, who has been known to take up to seven hours to complete his spectacular confections, admitted he indulges in a bit of drinking to get through the task.
Appearing on Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren show, Hamish was asked whether he struggled with a hangover after drinking what the Lego Masters host calls ‘building juice’.
‘No, remarkably, it has bizarrely become a bit of a tradition,’ he told hosts Jason Hawkins and Lauren Phillips.
He continued: ‘I actually don’t drink that much, cake night is one of my heavier drinking nights of the year. I’m on such a high usually from sugar for one thing, lot of icing and stuff.’
