‘When I think of my Dad, I think of the twinkle in his eye. He was always ready for a laugh and a joke and had the lightest way of cruising through life. My Dad had time for everyone. He made everyone feel important,’ she wrote.
Her words painted a picture of a man who lived life with kindness and grace.
She described him as an easygoing, sociable person with a passion for music and art, coupled with the ‘best handwriting’ she’d ever seen.
Jules went on to express how her father’s character had left a lasting impression on all who knew him: ‘There wasn’t a soul who knew him that didn’t love him. As this week has unfolded, I have been overwhelmed with how many people have described him as a ‘good man.’ That he was. Just so good.’

‘What a privilege it was to be in the room as my Dad took his last breath on earth. I wish I had words to describe it, but it will have to remain as unexplainable and very special,’ she wrote.
