I’m A Celebrity star GK Barry has revealed her A&E ordeal whilst accompanying her girlfriend Ella Rutherford to hospital.
The 25-year-old social media star, whose real name is Grace Keeling, documented the challenging experience on Instagram after encountering a distressing situation in the waiting room.
Whilst the reason for Rutherford’s hospital visit remained private, Barry gave fans an insight into her festive season trials while she sat in the hospital waiting room.
Sharing her experience on social media, Keeling posted a photo of the floor with the caption: “Currently in A&E with Ella, the emetophobia and germ phobia has been confirmed. Walked in to a woman throwing up and passing out.”
She continued wryly: “If I ever break a bone or do anything that needs me to attend A&E just let me die.”
Later, the I’m a Celeb fan-favourite posted a picture of herself wearing a protective mask.
Barry shared her grim experience with fans
“I’ve resulted to becoming a mask w****r,” she complained to fans.
She then joked about needing help with her mental health following the experience.
“Anyone got a code for better help? Will be seeking immediate therapy after this, god bless.,” she concluded.
Making light of media coverage of the saga, Barry told fans she was “cracking up” and confirmed that Ella was “absolutely fine”.

After a dramatic start, Barry quickly became a fan-favourite on this year’s I’m a Celebrity, finishing in the top five.
During her time on the show, Barry opened up about her relationship with Rutherford, her sexuality and coming out to her parents.
“Obviously online I’d been like I’d slept with girls or whatever as well, but I’d only dated men,” Barry told her fellow campers.
She revealed how she initially referred to Rutherford as just a friend before finally telling her parents: “Oh, she’s my girlfriend.”
The revelation was met with acceptance, with Grace noting: “They just love her, they never had an issue with it.”
Now, the pair have explained they are inseparable and often refer to each other as “wives”.
Following Barry’s departure from the jungle, Rutherford flew out to meet her, with the overjoyed social media star declaring: “Never again, are we leaving each other.
“We must be joined at the hip at all times.”
The couple met through a mutual friend, with Barry describing it as happening “by accident” before quickly developing feelings for Rutherford.
Rutherford, who is a footballer for Ipswich Town, is affectionately known as “Eyelashes” to GK’s fans – a nickname that originated as a codename when they first started dating.
