Leigh Leopards full-back Gareth O’Brien has signed a new contract to remain with the Super League club next season.
The 34-year-old started his career with hometown club Warrington and has also had spells with Salford, Toronto and Castleford.
During his time with Leigh, O’Brien won the 2023 Challenge Cup and has gone on to make 97 appearances in four seasons with the Leopards.
“I wanted to stay, whether that’s in a different sort of role again, similar to this year, I’m happy with that,” he told the club website., external
“I’m very grateful to still be doing what I do at my age. I’ve just got to keep enjoying it while it lasts, and I’m already looking forward to next year.”
