The actor’s death has prompted tributes from those who knew him, including organisations he helped establish after leaving the entertainment industry.

Mr Myers’s screen career commenced with his portrayal of a younger version of Will Smith’s character in a 1992 episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

That same year, he secured the role of Marlon Jackson in the ABC television film The Jacksons: An American Dream.

The production featured prominent actors, including Angela Bassett, Vanessa Williams, and Billy Dee Williams.

Mr Myers’s performance as the young Jackson family member marked another significant early role in his acting career.

His final television appearance came eight years later in 2000, when he featured in an episode of Young Americans. The programme was a short-lived teenage drama series that aired on The WB network.

Following this role, Mr Myers stepped away from acting and pursued other interests outside the entertainment industry.

After departing from acting, Mr Myers dedicated himself to supporting men’s wellbeing through the establishment of Fellaship Men’s Group.

The nonprofit organisation, which he co-founded, concentrates on addressing mental health challenges faced by men.

The group acknowledged Myers’s death through social media on Wednesday. Their Instagram post read: “RIP to our good brother @rocwonder one of our co founders. Gone but never will be forgotten.”
