Four more people have been charged with arson in connection with a wildfire.
The blaze at Dove Stone reservoir, near Greenfield, Saddleworth, Greater Manchester, broke out on 11 July and was declared a major incident by the fire service. It took more than three weeks to extinguish.
Tyler Warburton, 18, Toby Wilde, 18, Jake Eyre, 19, and Lyreec Bryan-Gavin, 22, are all accused of arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered and have all been bailed ahead of their scheduled court appearance in February at Manchester Magistrates’ Court.
Shania Care-Slede has also been charged with arson offences, which she has denied and is to go on trial over in May.
Wilde and Eyre are also charged with possession of class B drugs (cannabis).
The reservoir was reopened to the public for the first time on 27 August.
