Nigel Farage was unveiled as one of the two celebrities who’ll take on the first Bushtucker Trial of the series alongside YouTuber Nella Rose at the end of Sunday’s show.
After impressing alongside Rose and Josie Gibson during a separate task in the show’s opening episode of the series, ITV viewers clearly want to see more of Farage.
Ant and Dec arrived at the camp on Sunday evening to let the campmates know about the results of the public vote and who had been chosen to face The Jungle Pizzeria.
“They like to watch me squirm, it’s entertainment,” Rose screamed after she was announced as Farage’s companion.
While JLS singer Marvin Humes joked the pair were “the duo we never knew we needed”.
Fans will have to tune into Monday night’s show to see how the pair get on judging by Ant and Dec’s tease of the trial, it’s not one for the faint-hearted.

Arriving in the Outback for the challenge, Farage was greeted by Gibson as the pair got to know one another.
And Gibson couldn’t resist a jibe at Farage’s political stance within moments of them meeting.
“I thought this was a good idea until they dropped us off in the middle of nowhere. I’ve never been so petrified,” Gibson told the GB News star.
Nigel replied: “It’s something different in life, it’s an adventure! It’s a challenge, it’s not going to be easy, but why not?”

“It can’t be worse than Brexit,” Gibson added with a laugh as Farage chuckled and hit back: “Oh… didn’t take long did it?
“Didn’t take long. I had a feeling we’d get a bit of that,” he remarked before Gibson quipped: “Only joking.”
