Demi Moore made a shocking appearance on Hot Ones this week that left social media users gobsmacked at her resilience.
Hosted by Sean Evans, the smash hit YouTube show sees celebrities answer questions while eating progressively spicier wings.
As the heat level of the sauces goes up, the star guests are left gasping for breath, desperately drinking milk or even tearing off articles of clothing.
But Demi, who filmed her interview on her 62nd birthday, had a different reaction to the food entirely – she was all but completely unfazed.
Even near the end of the interview, when she was sampling the spiciest sauces and her face went red, her expression was otherwise totally calm and stoic.
Fans flooded into the comments to share how impressed they were with her unflappability, calling her a ‘legend’ and praising the ‘new Queen of Hot Ones’ for her ‘epic’ episode.

At the beginning of the episode, Demi tried to manage expectations, saying: ‘I didn’t wanna set myself up for failure. Everyone who knows me knows that I love to eat spicy food, but, that said, I don’t know what I’m getting myself into here.’
Demi proceeded to glide through the various spice levels as if they had no effect on her at all, even while Sean sat across the table struggling to keep his cool.
Even when Demi tried the Da Bomb Beyond Insanity sauce – one that left Sean in visible distress – she mildly remarked that it was ‘ugly’ but did not lose an iota of composure.
At one point, Demi grinned across the table at her host and said: ‘You look like you’re hurting over there,’ leaving Sean laughing painfully.
Then she went up a spice level to the Arbol Scorpion sauce and, after taking a bite of the wing, she said matter-of-factly: ‘Yeah, it’s nice. It’s all right.’
‘Demi has one of the highest spice tolerances of anyone on Hot Ones,’ wrote one of the YouTube commenters, as another marveled: ‘no one did this challenge with this magnificent level of grace. she is the winner I guess.’
‘I’m amazed how Da Bomb didn’t even phase her,’ wrote one with a string of laughing emoji, adding: ‘Then calling out Sean hurting.’
‘She barely flinched at the bomb…I tried a drop of it and was dying for 30 mins lol. She’s class,’ a fan remarked as another gushed: ‘She took Da Bomb like a champ! LEGEND!!’

During her interview, she revealed 1990 romance thriller Ghost unnerved her as a young screen star due to the gravity of emotions she would have to portray.
Ghost starred Demi as Molly Jensen, whose partner Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze) is murdered before he returns as a ghost to save her life.
Demi told host Sean Evans: ‘Definitely Ghost scared the c*** out of me. Also, to be such a young person dealing with the loss of your partner, in reading the script I was so overwhelmed at the kind of grief that I was going to have to tap into.’
Moore’s one-eyed crying in the film left fans in awe but she said ‘I didn’t plan that’
‘I know that there’s this iconic thing about the one eye. I didn’t plan that, I had no control over that. That’s just how it happened.
‘That one kind of help me get over a hurdle of my own. Not that it’s done it always…there’s still emotionally whenever we have to be vulnerable, it is not easy.’
In May Moore shared her thoughts on Channing Tatum potentially developing a remake of the hit film Ghost.
She opened up about which role ‘scared’ her during an emotional appearance on Hot Ones this week
The Magic Mike actor, 44, revealed last year that his production company, Free Association, had obtained the rights to the classic 1990 romance thriller that starred Moore, Patrick Swayze and Whoopi Goldberg.
In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight from the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, the actress shared her thoughts on a ‘reinterpretation’ of Ghost.
‘Look, every story in some ways has already been told,’ Moore explained, before adding, ‘The wonderful thing is the different way things can be reinterpreted.’
She continued, ‘I think there are some films that often are better left not touched, and left, and then sometimes there are wonderful surprises in that reinterpretation.’
Though Moore claims that Tatum hasn’t reached out to her since acquiring the film rights, she thinks he has the ‘talent’ to pull off a successful remake.

‘He’s super talented,’ she gushed. ‘I’d be curious to see what he decides to do.’
Tatum previously told Vanity Fair that he wanted to take on the role originated by Swayze in the Jerry Zucker-directed hit, which followed a murdered banker (Swayze) using a New York City medium (Goldberg) to warn his girlfriend (Moore) of a looming threat to her life.
‘But we’re going to do something different,’ he told the publication, before revealing that he felt the original film had some problematic stereotypes.
‘I think it needs to change a little bit.’
The original film received generally positive reviews from critics, with particular praise going towards the score and performances of its A-list cast.
Goldberg, 68, went on to win an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as NYC-based medium Oda Mae Brown.
In all, it received five Oscar nominations, winning two trophies, including Best Screenplay for Bruce Joel Rubin.
The film was a huge hit with moviegoers, grossing $505.7 million at the worldwide box office against a budget of $22-23 million.
Those huge money numbers helped Ghost earn the distinction of being the highest grossing film of 1990.
The success of the production extended to the home video market by being the most popular rental of 1991 in the United States.

Along with Moore, Swayze, who passed away in 2009, and Goldberg, the cast also featured Tony Goldwyn, Vincent Schiavelli, Rick Aviles, Armelia McQueen, Gail Boggs, Phil Leeds, Augie Blunt, Stephen Root and Bruce Jarchow.
Moore also said on The Drew Barrymore Show in February that she still has the clay figures she and Swayze made during the film’s iconic pottery sequence.
‘I still have my little pots that I made, which are pitiful,’ Moore told the host. ‘They’re like the saddest looking things.’
So far, there’s no word on when Tatum will begin production on a Ghost remake.
