David Beckham shares sweet snaps of wife Victoria, daughter Harper and mother Sandra as he pays tribute to ‘inspiring and hard working’ females in his life on International Women’s Day










David Beckham took to Instagram on Tuesday to pay tribute to the females closest to him on International Women’s Day.

The former footballer, 46, shared pictures of his mother Sandra, 73, his wife Victoria, 47, and their daughter Harper, 10.

President & co-owner of Inter Miami CF David praised the trio for being ‘inspiring, loving and hard working’ as he shared a number of pictures of his loved ones.

He wrote: ‘So grateful to have such inspiring, loving and hard working women in my life today and everyday. Happy International Women’s Day @sandra_beckham49 @victoriabeckham #HarperSeven #IWD.’

In a throwback snap from his days as a young soccer player, David could be seen in a white shirt as he stood behind his mother who wore a blue and white blouse.

He also shared a photo of Sandra holding him as a newborn baby as she sat in her hospital bed in the days after giving birth.

In another picture, his fashion designer wife Victoria walked down a grand staircase while wearing a brown jacket and black trousers.

The couple, who got married in 1999, are parents to daughter Harper, with David posting an image of his little girl as she sat in her school uniform while reading a book with a bowl of porridge by her side.

In a short clip, David was seen walking hand-in-hand with a younger Harper as the pair played with a football.

David’s post comes after he and Victoria pledged £1million to provide immediate aid to the people of Ukraine. 

The retired footballer launched an emergency appeal via his 7 Fund for UNICEF to help provide support to children affected in the war-torn country. 

And sources close to the couple revealed to MailOnline, David and Victoria have donated £1million of their own money to the charity initiative.

Their pal said: ‘David and Victoria personally donated £1m to the emergency appeal set up via David’s dedicated 7 Fund for UNICEF. They wanted to do everything they could to help UNICEF in their work on the ground in Ukraine.

‘David has been a Goodwill Ambassador for 17 years and raises millions a year to support UNICEF and their work for children around the world. 

‘This is in addition to the projects he funds under the umbrella of his 7 Fund which aims to support children around the world, particularly girls realise their potential.’
