David Beckham looked smart as he was seen narrowly avoiding a parking ticket in Manchester City Centre on Monday.
The former footballer, 49, was seen leaving Gary Neville’s Stock exchange hotel alongside his mum Sandra and dad Ted as his £600,000 black badge Rolls Royce Cullinan which he had parked on the double yellow lines.
However, it seems the sports star managed to avoid a parking ticket as he showed his parents the VIP treatment as they drove off from the five star hotel.
David wrapped up in a smart navy winter coat after spending the day in Manchester to attend the funeral of Manchester United’s beloved former receptionist Kath Phipps.
He was joined by Sir Alex Ferguson, Ruben Amorim and his squad as they headed to the service at Manchester Cathedral to pay their respects.
Phipps worked for United for 56 years and was described as a ‘one-woman institution’ when the club announced her death aged 85 on December 5.

Tributes poured in for Phipps at the time and it emerged that countless members of her ‘Manchester United family’ had visited her in the weeks leading up to her passing, including Sir Alex Ferguson.
Meanwhile on Monday, David’s youngest son Cruz poked fun at being a nepo baby in a light-hearted Instagram snap.
Cruz, 19, couldn’t help but make a jibe at one of The Office’s episodes, which was titled ‘Nepotism’.
As he started season seven of the series, Cruz shared a snap of the title and joked: ‘This episode is right up my alley’.
Posh and Becks’ children have been the targets of nepotism accusations due to their famous parent’s glittering careers.
As well as Cruz, they share Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 22 and 13-year-old daughter Harper.
Last year, Cruz appeared to have been particularly riled by the latest claims of nepotism levelled at him – responding with the bizarre declaration that ‘Jesus is also a nepo baby’.
The outburst came after he released a teaser video of his new Beatles-inspired song For Ya Love on social media on Christmas Day.

‘Not bad,’ wrote one critic. ‘Bet he had mega money and training.’ The musician quickly hit back, replying: ‘Not at all. Just a guitar.’
When the jibes continued, Cruz came out with his Jesus comment but deleted the post less than 12 hours later.
Cruz, who is dating Brazilian-German songwriter girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29, switched his music management from TaP, who work with the likes of Dua Lipa and Ellie Goulding, to guitar-led outfit C3, which is based in Los Angeles.
Having worked with bands such as The Strokes, C3 is a key signing for the young singer and guitarist.
Last year, the teenager worked with songwriter Ed Drewett, who has four number one hits to his name including Little Mix’s song Black Magic and The Wanted’s All Time Low.
Cruz has also worked with producer Fred Ball, known for his success with big names such as Beyonce, Rihanna, Mariah Carey and Ed Sheeran.
Accusations of privilege have dogged his brothers too, throughout their various endeavours.
