Charlotte Church has opened up about her time on Celebrity Traitors after becoming the latest victim of the murderous trio in Wednesday’s episode.

The Welsh singer took part in the show as a Faithful, but she quickly appeared on the Traitors’ radar and soon Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns and Alan Carr decided the childhood star would be their next sacrifice.

Like her murdered counterparts, Ms Church was given the opportunity to address her time on the popular show on The Traitors: Uncloaked.

In the pre-recorded segment of the show, which sees each murdered contestant discovering who the Traitors actually were before the series hit screens, Ms Church expressed her surprise at learning the identity of her killers.

Host of the spin-off show, Ed Gamble, welcomed Ms Church eagerly before joking: “Of course, circumstances could be happier, you are no longer in the Traitors game, but I think you had a pretty good stint.”

He went on to ask the 39-year-old: “Are you happy with the time you got there?”

“I’m happy with the time I got there, I feel like I had an experience of most things,” Ms Church replied.

However, the wellness retreat owner admitted the one thing she was sad to miss out on as she highlighted the lack off success of the Faithful team.

“I’m sad that I didn’t get to experience getting out a Traitor…” she shared.

However, she added: “But I also think that I would have found the intense nature of the game, and that becoming progressively more pronounced… That would have been quite difficult for my little sensitive self.”

Reflecting on the missions she took part in, Ms Church confirmed she’d been looking forward to the various physical and mental tasks.

“Yes, absolutely. I think that that was a big part of why I wanted to come in, to have a challenge, have an adventure,” she revealed.

“And, you know, those ones which are enormous, like the Trojan Horse, I mean, it was just so brilliant to be part of that.

“And, yeah, I mean, being in the soil is one of my favourite things to do, and so I had no problem with digging my own grave.”

“Now, you were very sure you were going to be murdered, and you were bang right,” Mr Gamble quipped.

Probing the singer on why she believed she’d be killed, Ms Church replied: “I feel like probably because I was so vocally a Faithful, and then I was, I think, good at representing myself as a Faithful.

“I think the Traitors couldn’t use me as sort of a diversionary tactic in terms of trying to frame me as a Traitor.

“And so then what use was I to them, actually? Where – hopefully – I might have become, you know, more discerning as the game would have gone on.

“And, yeah, so I think that I would have been a threat to the Traitors, had I stayed. It would have been difficult for them to really frame me as a Traitor.

“And maybe a couple of them did vote for me at the Roundtable, potentially, and it wasn’t really sticking. So they thought ‘she’s of no use to us, let’s pop her off.'”

Mr Gamble eventually handed the singer a note with the names of the three Traitors.

“I’m going to hand you a scroll, it’s right here, but before I do that, I’m going to make you wait, because I want to know who you think the Traitors are.”

Sharing her predictions, Ms Church theorised: “So by the end of my time, I think my suspicions were on Mark [Bonnar], Jonathan and Celia [Imrie].”

When asked why Mr Bonnar struck her as a Traitor, Ms Church confessed: “Because he seemed to be… I could feel him acting at the Roundtable. Also, how hard he went for Tamika [Empson].

“And with Jonathan, I think that again, he was becoming more and more of a patriarch, and he didn’t seem to be driving himself as mad as everybody else.”

When asked who her definite Faithfuls were, Ms Church joked: “I don’t think anybody,” before considering and adding: “Maybe Nick [Mohammed], maybe Kate [Garraway], maybe cat, but that’s it.”

As she unveiled the names one by one, Ms church gasped as she exclaimed: “Jonathan! Jonathan…”

As Ms Burns’ name was revealed, Ms church appeared genuinely shocked as she yelled: “Cat!”

Traitor Alan Carr has managed to remain under the radar of the Faithful

She added: “Oh my gosh, she’s playing an exquisite game. I really wanted to believe that she was Faithful as well.”

Finally seeing Mr Carr’s name, Ms Church stated: “Alan! Oh, my good gosh. Oh, my days. Alan, you sneaky little Alan! Oh gosh, Paloma… She must have been fuming.”

Sharing one last prediction, she concluded: “Oh, my days. I think that Jonathan has probably not got long, but I think that Cat and Alan… That is going to be tough. Wow, wow.”
