A swim float with a canopy designed for babies has been rejected at the border for posing a serious risk of injury.
The product, which was sold on Amazon, failed to meet requirements for safety according to the Office for Product Safety & Standards.
It was deemed that if a “gust of wind” was caught under the product, it could lift the baby out of the water, potentially causing the baby to fall from a dangerous height.
The import was rejected at the border before entering the country, so Britons have been warned they will not receive it if they had purchased it.
The product was rejected at the border for safety concerns
