Nick Candy received a boost as shares in the podcast publisher where he is the biggest investor hit their highest level for nearly two years, writes Samuel Norman.
The property tycoon is the largest shareholder in Audioboom.
Shares in the London-listed company rose 7.7 per cent, or 31p, to 436p yesterday – pushing the value Candy’s 14.2 per cent stake up by around £600,000 to over £10million.
The rally came after Audioboom, whose shows cover everything from sport to true crime, posted a 13 per cent rise in annual revenues to £60million.
The company swung to a £2.8million profit having made a loss of £300,000 in 2023.
Chief executive Stuart Last said yesterday: ‘2025 is set to be a record year for Audioboom.’
