My Kitchen Rules star Simone Prest is expecting his first child with his partner Victoria.
The Italian chef, who will be competing with his friend Viviana on the MKR Grand Final on Tuesday night, revealed the exciting news on Channel Seven’s The Morning Show.
‘Yes, I’m going to be a dad, it’s coming very soon! We need to be ready for it,’ Simone began.
He added the $100,000 he and Viviana were competing for in the MKR finale would be put towards the baby.
‘Obviously this Grand Final prize will be very helpful. So let’s see!’
Simone will be competing with his close friend Viviana on the upcoming Grand Final against fellow contestants Caz and Fergus, to be broadcast on Channel Seven on Tuesday at 7:30pm.

He previously shared details of his baby joy to Woman’s Day magazine, revealing he is expecting a son.
‘We’re expecting a little boy. I’m super-happy, but also a bit nervous, especially since we don’t have family here in Australia.
‘It will be challenging at first, but I’m confident everything will be all right in the end.’
Simone moved to Brisbane nine years ago and runs his own takeaway business there.
He was paired with his close friend, Brisbane-based hairdresser Viviana, on the series because his partner Victoria couldn’t compete due to her pregnancy.
Simone and Viviana have consistently wowed the judging panel with their delicious food creations.
Last month, they made MKR history with the highest Instant Restaurant score in the show’s 14 years, as they best friends served precision on a plate, resulting in a total score of 104 out of 110.
Their entrée of Beef Tartare with Crumbed Yolk and Crostini put a twist on a traditional French dish.

The risk paid off, with the inclusion of apple in the tartare and use of lasagna sheets instead of bread impressing the judges.
Manu Feildeladmitted: ‘I’m a classic guy when it comes to French food. Why apple? Why have I not thought about this before? Clever!’
The main – Simone’s own creation of Prawn and Potato Ravioli with Prawn Bisque – wowed the whole table.
Manu declared it the ‘best dish’ on MKR, leaving Simone speechless, and Viviana so proud of her friend.
