In July, 2020, The Sydney Morning Herald reported that Amy was planning to sell her Gold Coast mansion and move to Sydney.
She first moved into her lavish spread shortly after winning three ARIA awards in 2018.
However, the constant travelling was getting too much and she revealed plans to move to Sydney.
Being based in the Harbour City also makes it easier for her to fly to and from Los Angeles.
Amy and her husband Shane, whom she married in 2013, reportedly made the decision to relocate early in 2020.
However, they decided to bunker down on Gold Coast when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and put their property search on hold.
Amy remains one of Australia’s top artists who has eight ARIA Awards under her belt and a bunch of number one hits.
