High street store closures have been a recurring issue in Britain over recent years with retailers warning 17,000 shops are at risk due to Chancellor Rachel Reeves’s Autumn Budget.

Earlier this week, Pizza Hut confirmed that dozens of its restaurants would shut down as part of a restructuring plan with hospitality venues not being immune from a tough business environment.
