Angelina Jolie was the epitome of class while promoting her upcoming biopic, Maria, in New York City on Tuesday.
The Maleficent actress, 49 – who recently put on a chic display at the Director’s Guild of America in the Big Apple – could be seen strolling towards an awaiting car inside a parking garage during the busy evening.
Maria – which has already generated Oscars buzz following the trailer’s release – is slated to drop on Netflix later this year on December 11.
Jolie turned heads wearing a black, flowy dress that contained a plunging neckline on the front and a fitted waistline.
The hem of the gown concealed the shoes that she had opted to wear, and layered the look with a black, velvet shawl.

Angelina’s long locks were parted in the middle and partially pulled back away from her face, allowing the strands to fall down in light waves.
She accessorized the outfit with a pair of dangly, silver earrings as well as a dainty, silver-chained necklace and a flashy ring.
The star’s makeup was glammed up for the night, and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a smoky shadow around her eyes.
A light blush was added to her cheekbones for a radiant glow, while a nude-colored, glossy tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.
Jolie flashed a small smile as she was escorted through the lobby area of what appeared to be a parking garage before heading to her next destination.
The actress has been busy during a press tour for the biographical psychological drama film based on the late opera singer, Maria Callas.
Most recently, she attended a screening of the project at the Crosby Street Hotel in NYC on Monday.
While at the event, Angelina crossed paths with fellow actress, Candice Bergen, amid the festivities.

Candice was stylish in a pair of denim jeans as well as a blue blouse and sequin, plaid blazer while Angelina stunned in a black velvet dress.
Maria was directed by Pablo Larrain – who is behind other projects such as Jackie (2016) and Spencer (2021).
Along with Jolie, other stars that have been cast in the film include Pierfrancesco Favino, Alba Rohrwacher, Haluk Bilginer and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
Three months earlier in August, the biopic first premiered during the 81st Venice International Film Festival, where it competed for the Golden Lion.
The movie will have a limited theatrical release in the United States beginning on November 27 – before dropping on Netflix the following month on December 11.
The premise of the film is: ‘Maria Callas, the world’s greatest opera singer, lives the last days of her life in 1970s Paris, as she confronts her identity and life,’ per an IMDB synopsis.

He expressed, ‘Angelina had to sing it out loud, with all of her power and humanity. By doing so, I asked her to feel the emotion and feel how broken she was in this moment of joy.’

‘It becomes a beautiful canvas of Maria’s life, someone that has found an operatic act in performance,’ Larrain stated.
While talking to The Hollywood Reporter in August, Angelina opened up about portraying Callas and taking singing lessons for the film.
‘It took many months of singing classes. Months of just getting the singing down and then the Italian classes and then the voice and doing all these things like her. You try to be precise,’ she explained.
‘I would recommend almost every human being take an opera class. To exist and never have sung with your full body as loud as you could possibly sing…’
Jolie continued, ‘It’s something I think we should all feel. It’s scary, and it is rarely asked of us. It’s rarely asked of us in life to be all that we can be or feel all that we feel.’
Two of her children, Maddox, 23, and Pax, 20 – whom she shares with ex Brad Pitt – also helped out on the production.
‘Mad and Pax were on this one. Doing AD [assistant directing] work. They’ve done that quite a few times, and I think that’s good for them.’

‘They’re a bit older, getting more independent. I’m less needed and so able to go away for different periods of time.’
She added, ‘And they’re old enough to join me at work. It’s a new season in our lives. I’m very excited for them to be coming into their own more and more every day.’
