As Halloween draws closer, shoppers can look forward to feasting on Aldi’s new range of spooky sweets.

The supermarket already has one seasonal treat in stock, although more “ghoulish goodies” will arrive in stores on Monday, October 27, promises Aldi.

The collection features everything from “spine-chilling cheesecakes” to “monstrously moreish macarons”, all designed to add a frightful touch to Halloween celebrations.

These limited-edition desserts have even caught the attention of Good Housekeeping Institute experts, who have given high marks to several items in their Halloween taste test.

With seasonal treats from as little as £2.99, it’s a wallet-friendly way to satisfy your sweet tooth this spooky season.

Among the star attractions are the new Mummies & Tombstones treats, priced at £3.49 for a pack of four.

These come in two tempting varieties – white chocolate mummies packed with ganache and raspberry jam, or milk chocolate tombstones containing milk chocolate ganache, raspberry, and crunchy honeycomb pieces.

Cat lovers will adore the new Scaredy Cat Cheesecake, also £3.49 for 450g. This party-perfect dessert combines smooth vanilla layers with a buttery biscuit base, finished with a dusting of cocoa. Both these treats land in stores on October 27.

The Spider Leg Churros are making their creepy comeback on the same day, priced at £2.99 for a 10-pack.

These crispy, fluffy treats are shaped like spider legs and come with chocolate sauce for dipping.

For those who can’t wait to get their hands on Halloween candy, shoppers can already pick up the “fan-favourite” Halloween Macarons (£2.99) as they make their seasonal appearance.

Available in bat shapes alongside new Frankenstein designs, they blend sweet almond flavours with nutty pistachio for a “sophisticated” Halloween treat.
