Angus Brayshaw has tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Danielle Frawley in Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula.
The former AFL star, 28, and Danielle exchanged vows in front of their family and friends in a picture-perfect outdoor ceremony on December 30.
Angus cut a suave figure in a black tuxedo and looked happier than ever as he packed on the PDA with his new wife in photographs shared to Instagram.
Danielle, who is the daughter of the late footballing legend Danny Frawley, was every inch the blushing bride in a stunning gown made by Moira Hughes Couture.
A whole host of Angus’ former Demons teammates attended their nuptials including the likes of Nathan Jones, Jack Viney, Tom McDonald and Jake Melksham.
Angus and Danielle have known each other since they were children as their families are close friends.

Years later, during a trip to visit the Brayshaw’s family home in Sandringham, they then quickly hit it off and began dating as adults, according to Danielle’s mother Anita.
‘We have been family friends with Debra and Mark [Brayshaw] for many, many years, going back 20, 25 years, and we were at their house in Sandringham many years ago, and Angus and Danielle were there,’ she said in 2021.
‘Mark and I picked up straight away. I said, ”There is a spark here, Mark,” and we had a great laugh.
‘We have a photo of them back in the day when they were seven, and we joke about it now that it was right back in those early days that we thought something would happen.
‘He is a beautiful man.’
Melbourne midfielder Angus then popped the question to Danielle last year, sharing the news to Instagram at the time.
Angus told how the low-key surprise proposal came just after Danielle had got out the shower and he was making her favourite dinner.
‘I cooked her favourite salad but I made her a steak,’ he told Channel Seven.

‘It was nice but not too nice so she’d expect something – and I overcooked her steak, which I’m not too proud of.’
He explained that he was trying to lull Danielle into a false sense of security and ‘keep her on her toes’ so she wouldn’t suspect anything was going on.
‘[There were] a few tears, about 10 seconds before I heard an actual “yes” come out of her mouth,’ Brayshaw said of the reaction to his proposal.
‘I was on one knee and I was like, gee, this is a bit too long, but we got there.’
Danielle is the daughter of the late AFL star and media personality Danny Frawley, who died in 2019 at the age of 56.
Angus also has sporting links in his family as his uncle is James Brayshaw, the retired cricketer and Seven Sport star, while his father Mark played for North Melbourne Football Club.
Angus was forced to retire from the AFL in February of this year at the age of 28 after suffering a series of concussions.
Last year, Angus was concussed after Collingwood defender Brayden Maynard attempted to smother his kick in the first quarter of the qualifying final.

Brayden escaped suspension for the controversial bump, which divided the football world and prompted the AFL to tinker with rules on smothers.
Angus said at the time of his retirement: ‘I am devastated that I can no longer play the game that I love, but I respect the verdict of the medical professionals, and the importance of putting my health before my career.
‘I am really proud of what I have achieved over the past decade. I have been able to live out my childhood dream, and while it’s been cut short, I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved.’
Angus also suffered significant concussion issues early in his career, leading to him taking an extended break in 2017.
