Outgoing ABC presenter Sammy J has reignited his ongoing feud with radio rival Kyle Sandilands.
The comedian, 41, fired off the latest attack in the unlikely war of words to his followers on X – formerly known as Twitter – on Tuesday.
The drama started when Sammy took to the social media platform to boast about his ABC show beating The Kyle and Jackie O Show in the Melbourne radio ratings.
Not one to take an attack lying down, Kyle then hit back on his Kyle & Jackie O radio show, claiming nobody had ever heard of the ABC star.
Now, Sammy J – real name Samuel Jonathan McMillan – has provoked the radio star once again as he boldly claimed he will always have better ratings than Kyle.
‘I’m getting so many calls from the media that I thought it would be best to put this out there — won’t be making further comment,’ he kicked off his statement.
Outgoing ABC presenter Sammy J has reignited his ongoing feud with radio rival Kyle Sandilands in another savage spray
‘To describe this as a ”feud” is incorrect and offensive to both myself and Mr Sandilands. He and I both agree on facts.
‘I will have better ratings than him for all eternity. He can’t stop thinking about me.’
Sammy’s swipe didn’t stop their, with the presenter going on to savagely claim that Kyle is unable to carry a show without the help of his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.
‘He needs music and ads plus multiple co-presenters to prop him up, but I can host a radio show all on my own cos I’m a big boy,’ he went on.
‘I trust this settles the matter. I wish Mr Sandilands well and hope his 4am starts get easier with time.’
When contacted by Daily Mail Australia, Kyle’s representatives declined to comment.
Last week, Kyle passionately hit back at Sammy’s initial swipe as he slammed the ABC star as ‘deluded flog’.
Sammy, who announced last week he is leaving ABC Radio Melbourne, took to X to mock Kyle after his show beat The Kyle and Jackie O Show in the Melbourne radio ratings.

Now, Sammy J – real name Samuel Jonathan McMillan – has provoked the radio star once again as he boldly claimed he will always have better ratings than Kyle
‘I beat Kyle again in my final ratings today,’ he wrote.
‘So, I’ll forever live rent free in his head. I’m his white whale; his tormentor; the last face he sees at night and first face he sees each morning.
‘When he strolls on the beach at night, the wind will whisper ‘Sammy J,” he quipped.
Buy Kyle took serious umbrage with Sammy’s comments, claiming he had ‘never heard’ of his radio ‘rival’.
‘There’s some guy at the ABC in Melbourne who quit, but he was saying some weird s**t like: ‘I beat Kyle Sandilands,’ and: ‘I’m the first thing he thinks about’,’ Kyle said on Monday.
‘I have never even heard of him and he thinks that he is in my mind. What a deluded flog. I don’t know who you are dog.’
He angrily went on: ‘[Sammy wrote] When he [Kyle] walks on the beach he can’t not think about me. I said ‘Bro no one knows who you are.”
Reading Sammy’s direct quote, Kyle’s co-host Jackie argued that the comedian was only joking, but Kyle was having none of it.
In his latest swipe, Sammy J savagely claimed that Kyle is unable to carry a show without the help of his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson as he reignited their row
‘Jackie, He is from the ABC. They don’t joke,’ he slapped back.
Kyle’s manager and Kyle and Jackie O Show director Bruno Bouchet also chimed in, agreeing with Kyle’s assessment of the sledge.
‘You’re 100 per cent right,’ Bruno insisted.
‘The ABC, they don’t do jokes, that’s against their charter so you’ve got to assume that it’s being said very sternly and seriously.’
Kyle offered his congratulations to Sammy before giving his own, not-so-subtle dig at his rival and the ABC.
‘Anyway well done to him for winning, Not that anyone give a s**t,’ Kyle said.
‘I don’t even know why they taxpayer is forced to pay for a commercial-less radio show to be in a survey. What do you have to pay for that?’
