Tucker Carlson made a very ‘too much information’ confession during an interview with a popular blogger.
The podcaster and former Fox News host attended a gala fundraiser hosted by Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday, where he and Kid Rock received a ‘Champion of America’ award from the incoming president.
During the event, @classofpalmbeach – a popular social media blogger who offers a daily glimpse into how the ultra-rich dress in the elite Florida town – had a chance to chat with the popular conservative commentator.
But during the short interview, a smiling Carlson admitted his not-so-classy body hygiene habit when asked what his favorite cologne was.
‘I’ve never worn cologne in my life,’ he said.
‘Cologne? I don’t even wear deodorant dude!’ he added as he walked away chuckling.
The post on Instagram left many viewers disgusted by his seemingly nonchalant admission, as well as the blogger’s decision to interview him at all.
‘Bye. Unfollowing. Thought you were classier than this,’ wrote one viewer.
A second read: ‘Assinine and tasteless, his coat needs another fitting and oh dear, on the haircut.’

Carlson, who was wearing a traditional black-and-white tux during the 16-second video clip, was also asked what designer he was wearing.
‘I’m wearing the world’s most unattractive tuxedo,’ he said.
He was then asked where it was from, to which he responded: ‘I have no idea. I found it in my room’.
Many other comments were about the ‘classiness’ of the interview, noting how the off-the-cuff moment went against the overall theme of showing off the glamour and glitz of Palm Beach’s posh residents.
Some even went as far to express their anger for creating a ‘political divide’ by sharing the clip.
‘I must say I follow because of the luxury and luxurious items people wear,’ one commenter wrote. ‘As you can see this post alone has divided us and has created contention!!!!’
The creator of the account took to the comments to respond to the hate and said: ‘Very far from a political post… just came here to let you know he doesn’t wear cologne…’ which was accompanied by a thumbs up and heart emoji.
Others found the interview genuine and hilarious – noting how Carlson has a great sense of humor.

The wildly-popular social media page is the brainchild of the one Millennial resident, who often found herself stopping wealthy people on the street and asking which designer shops they had bought their clothes and accessories from.
The account has grown to be so influential that some residents are so determined to be featured they have loitered on the main street for hours in the hopes of getting noticed by the creator.
With nearly 1.5million followers on TikTok and Instagram combined, its no surprise that the admin was able to attend the president-elect’s gala and run into notable faces along the way.
The event, which was a fundraiser for the America’s Future PAC led by General Mike Flynn, featured a mix of conservatives commentators, celebrities and political figures, The Express Tribune reported.
The evening celebrated conservative cultural and political icons and showcased Trump’s ability to bring together influential figures from both the entertainment and political spheres.

Carlson was awarded with the ‘Champion of America’ honor after a year of controversy – including the backlash he received following his high-profile interviews with Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Yet the former Fox News host has remained a key figure in Trump’s inner circle and is frequently praised for sharing his conservative viewpoints.
Kid Rock, the multi-platinum-selling musician, also took the stage despite his social media presence and posted memes that have sparked controversy across the internet.
Mel Gibson was another noteworthy – but surprise – guest at the event who has also voiced his conservative views and occasionally can be seen in attendance at right-leaning events.
Tickets to the gala cost a whopping $5,000 – a price that only includes the dinner plate.
An additional $3,800 allowed guests to access the preceding ‘VIP’ reception – an intimate poolside meet-and-greet.
